Hello! I have decided to sell off some of myFire-King coffee mug collection pieces from which was one of the largest collections of genuine non-advertising Fire king mugs in the world. I collected these between 1996 and 2007 and at one time had more than 560 unique non-advertising Fire-King marked mugs, which is more than is shown in the Kilgo-Wilkins book, the Florence book and the Japanese Fire King Mug Book all combined. My mugs were featured in Brian Orfin’s book Price Guide to Fire King and Restaurant Coffee Mugs , and I was a contributing author in Karen Knapstein’s article How to collect vintage Fire-King coffee mugs, bowls and kitchenware , the December 16, 2011 issue of Antique Trader. I sold most of the mugs around 2009 but kept the most special treasures. The mugs now listed currently are among the most rare of the rare, some almost impossible to find, and would be a great addition to a vintage Americana glassware collection, mid century modern kitchen, or general display.
