For auction is a Emma Clear 19" China Gent, super nice looking and is in great shape. The only damage is two paint flakes in the hair one in the side and one small on top, see pics, the rest of the doll is free from damage. His body is tightly stuffed and is marked under the shoulder plate with a 49. The head is marked Clear, blue painted eyes and nice goatee and stash,molded ears and side burns so typical of the early 1800's man. His hands are large and manly and are free from damage as well as the legs which are mother of pearl painted and black trimmed boots. The outfit is very well made Jacket with tight trousers from black velvet gold braid and buttons in front, Beige detailed broacade vest, with large gold buttons , she is also wearing a one piece cotton shirt with lace decoration that buttons in the back. He is very well made with a tightly stuffed body and will stand in a stand perfectly, the legs do not bend. Super handsome man to pair with your best china or parian ladies. This doll came from an estate in Charlotte NC along with many other parians and chinas, I have owned her and several other Emma Clear dolls for about 15 years, I will be listing more in the next few days so please check back with us.
