Nice Multi-colored flowers on this "large" Czech glass floral centerpiece. Many different & very unusual shaped flowers are used in the makeup of this item. It is so very different than the other Czechoslovakian glass items I have listed.This is the only one of mine in all of the boxes that has this styleplanter vase. It is marked with the logo from Syracuse China on the bottom of the white vase. It's mark reads "OP CO, SYRACUSE, H-8"I presume Onondago Pottery CO to identify their wabouts. The Syracuse China began producing pottery in 1871 and used mark up into the 1900's. I can find no reference to this mark being used after 1943 but if someone has further information I would welcome an email and will post all pertinent information for it.This may be a replacement vase, for the original clear Czech. one. I do not know for sure this is only my speculation.The vase is4 1/2 X 2 1/2 high and appears it might have been a sugar bowl and would have had a lid. The plaster compound used to keep the huge bouquet of flowers in place does not appear white like the original compound does. This centerpiece has so many gorgeous multi shaped petaled flowers . You must see all photos I am posting to this listing. Each of the large ones have 4 outer larger petals. T are 2 yellow & white (on both outer sides), orange & white flower in the middle, & 2 rose and white at inner lower right and left. These all have These large ones all measures 5 1/2 inches across. In their centers they have a leaf or petal that is rolled and has a different color than the outer petals. This is placed inside a shell shaped. 3 of the shell ones are alike & blue in color. The other 2, having rose and white outer ones have yellow for the color of the shell shaped outer center petal. T are tiny trumpet flowers on 4 branches in plae blue color. The lower branches on each side each have 3 green leaves and a small pink flower. This style of tiny flower is repeated in yellow on 2 of the branches at upper top that have a blue shell and an orange rolled center depicting these as "buds". In the very center upper is another bud like flower of rose & white shell with a rolled center in blue and thisone does not have a spare wire with noo tiny flower showing so ay not have ever had one. All of the leaf cluster branches if this were complete would still have 3 green leaves on them I believe. The upper right branch only has 2 on it out past the smae branch that has the outer rose and white large flower.The branch on the far left which has the large yellow flower does not have any leaves at all. T is a small pink flower attached which is broken and is slightly different in shape and color as the other tiny ones so may have been a partial repair. One could easily remove the ends of the 2 branches and cut them back under the large outer flowers and it would not show from the front view and would look oh so great! In the view from the back of this centerpiece on the center trunk t is a stem coming out from it's thread wrappings that has a single green leaf. The leaves all measure 3 1/4 in length and 3.4 inches wide and are very thick looking (1/8 Th for measurement) in the molding of them. If I have any extra leaves which I do I will place a listing of spare parts as individual items. I won't know all that I have until I have gone through the next 2 boxes of these items. SIZE: This centerpiece stands 14 1/4 inches tall in as pictured gallery photo.It is almost 19 inches wide and 8 1/2 from front to back. This item will have a $6.00 packing fee since it will be a little more time consuming to pack. These of this size take about an hour at minimum to fully pack and protect each glass petal, etc. from being allowed to rattle against another glass piece.This one will require more packing material than I normally use for most items.
