Dovetailed and having the original round 3 inch handle. Would have had a wooden handle to use this in the fireplace for melting butter or something like sauces . DUTCH OR ENGLISH THIS PIECE IS VERY VERY EARLY 1720-1790 PERIOD ALL ORIGINAL LEGS NO RESTORATION AND CAN BE SEEN ALL THE HAND HAMMERING. gREAT SMALL PIECE OF 18TH CENTURY COPPER. tHIS PIECE WOULD SELL FOR WELL OVER 200.00 SELLING WITH NO RESERVE.
