This is super picture stone from south part of China . The pattern on the stone is not painted , it is natural . It's somewhat like Picture jasper in USA . But it is not Jasper . It's a stone called siltstone. In China people call this stone "traditional Chinese painting stone" because it is a perfect mountain and water painting . The only thing is that nature makes the painting! If you like nature and art then nothing can beat this stone. These makes great gifts for all ages , Or just keep one piece for yourself (I borrow the above words from a custumer's feedback . Thanks a lot Norma) Our factory makes the best quality of this type of the stone in terms of the picture pattern and polishing and cutting . This particular one is 10cm tall and 9cm wide , 0.5 in thickness. It weighs 146g. This is one of most beautiful one among hundreds and thousands I have gone through . The stand is hand carved out of very good wood (I don't know the English version of the wood it's anti-insect ) and it is included in the aunction About shipping .
