This auction is for a used Super Tigre S 61 K ABC W/M RC airplane engine. Made in Italy. I got this from an estate. I thought it was new in the box but it is NOT. However to me, the engine looks pretty close to being lightly used. Look at the pictures and you can decide what you think. I have put in plenty of photos for you to study. I can tell that this engine was used because glow plug shows use. The muffler has some wear and scratches on it so not sure what the deal was on this; looks like it was used on a different engine to me due to difference in wear and appearance. I do not see any rust on the cylinder wall or the piston. The cooling fins on top show some "age spots" not sure what causes these?? see photos. It seems to make great compression to me - I can hardly turn it over by hand without a prop on it. I do not hear anything in the bearing that suggests grinding due to rust or slop due to wear - seems very silky smooth to me; but I am not an expert on this area at all, just giving my observation. The prop nut on the engine in the photo seems like it will need a washer to make it work - the threaded shaft is very long; so I have also included an extra nut and washer; washer is a little over size for the shaft but will work with some centering over the prop. This is not a ringed engine. I dont know if it has ball bearings or not but looks to me like it is a bushing and not ball bearings. Hopefully you guys bidding will be more familiar with this engine that me. I used to fly nitro but have been all elec for several years now so my memory on these engines is fading a bit. If you have questions let me know and I will study details for you and do my best to answer your questions. I am selling this engine "as is" because I am not an expert on these engines - never have been, never will be... so please bid appropriately. I am relatively new to selling on eBay.
