This auction is for a super victorian bird cage with original red, white, and blue paint. T is a metal tag on the door that reads "John Maxwell New York Patented". Cage has a nice blue painted wooden finial on top with a metal hanger. The 2 feeders have very fancy metal tops which are patent dated January 24th 1882. The base is painted blue and red and has 4 tin feet and 3 original hooks. The cage itself is painted white and has red pin striping, 4 wooden perches, a swing, and a nest. It measures 16" tall, 12" long, and 9 1/2" wide. Condition is excellent with no breaks or repairs.This is the nicest cage I've ever owned. Bid with confidence.
