A superb 18thc Staffordshire silvered lustre jug with oval shaped medallions to either side bearing wonderful hand painted male heads. Excellent attention to detail on this rare silvered lustre jug. Each face is superbly depicted and each stands out in relief from the jug. The silvered lustre is decorated with hand painted white detail as images show. Height some 5". Condition: The jug has a chip to one side at rim and bit of minor nibbling to rim by spout. Small hole to base. All as per images. A superb rare 18th century staffordshire lustre jug with male heads to each side which is very collectable. A fine addition to any Staffordshire collection.
