This is a wonderful 1950s Modernist necklace which came with a estate collection of fine jewelry. I recently saw almost a exact example of this in a recent published jewelry book, valued at close to $200.00. Featuring a long quality gold chain which suspends a huge and unique finely hand twisted necklace, inset with a large polished stone. The stone is beautiful and has a unique floating effect. This reminds me of the characteristic work of Caldar jewelry. This is in excellent condition with the chain measuring 22 inches long. The pendant measures 3 inches high.
