MTS ANTIQUE JEWELLERY BOXES PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO VIEW MORE PICTURES LOVELY 19c ROSEWOOD INLAID JEWELLERY BOX FABINTERIOR You are bidding on a wonderful restored and repolished Victorian rosewood veneered inlaid mother of pearl, and pewter strung jewellery box in great condition. FULLY LOCKS No missing or replaced veneer. Superb condition. The entire mother of pearl inlay is complete as is the pewter stringing. Dates to approx c1850/70 Box retains the original brass lock, brass stop hinges, and top catch. Comes complete with a silk tassel, and Victorian key that FULLY LOCKS the box. Comprising a wonderful interior that boasts a later wooden tray finished to a superb standard that compliments. This has been relined in expensive plush velvet material of the highest quality, the same as the interior of the box. All the added dividers within the tray can easily be repositioned if desired. The tray can hold many rings in an upright position. The base of the box and the base of the tray are also lined in velvet.
