This is a superb amphora vase or jug. During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the art nouveau period of the late 19th century, dating about c1900 and is of czechoslavakian origin. the second and last of two listed. Underneath the Amphora logo of which we have been informed is the logo of Amphora Czechoslavakia. Certainally a wonderful and quite superb vase jug with the wonderful decoration. In a cobalt blue with a silvered chestnut tree leaf to one side with a beetle. Other side has the fruit of the horse chestnut tree. Silvered rim to the top. Has an overall height of about 6.5inches. Max width is about 8inches. Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is very good and is subject to minor rubbing only to the rim and the beetle. All as per pictures. Besides being a very collectable 19th century decorative Amphora art nouveau vase/jug of quality, would also look fabulous displayed. uk to uk: $10 uk to usa: $29 uk to europe: $25 uk to worldwide: $32
