This is a quite superb carved wooden oak corbel with the intricate relief carvings of the leaves and flower of which: During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the 19th century. Dates about c1880. Of a Black Forest origin. Superb relief carved wooden oak corbel . Intricate relief carvings of the leaves and the central carving of a flower. Peg base area. It has an overall size of about 9.75 x 8.5inches. Max depth of about 1.25inches. Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is subject to: a chip to the top of a leaf area at the top with: an excellent and professional repair to an end as the only blemishes. All as per pictures.
