This is a superb 19thc mahogany pediment beautifully carved with ornate scrolling acanthus and stylised leaf decoration. All carving is in high relief and the attention to detail is excellent. The condition of this pediment is excellent and age commensurate. A bit of damage to underside of pediment at either end but this is of no consequence at all. Height max some 8". Length some 22". A fine collectable 19th century mahogany pediment with carved leaf decoration.
