SUPERB ANTIQUE VINTAGE BEAUTIFULLY CARVED RED FRUIT BOX RED WOOD TORTOISE TURTLE SUPERB ANTIQUE VINTAGE BEAUTIFULLY CARVED RED FRUIT BOX RED WOOD TORTOISE TURTLE An absolutely beautiful, intricately detailed and lifelike carved little wooden tortoise. The tortoise showing superb craftsmanship and being extremely tactile to the touch and to handle. Unsure as to the age of this beautiful little carving antique or vintage but whichever it is it is still a wonderful little piece of art in it's own right. I am not sure of what kind of wood the tortoise is carved from , fruit , box wood or similar , it appears to be of a red/ brown colour and is wonderfully smooth and tactile as previously mentioned. The tortoise is in excellent condition with no damage, chips, cracks or restoration and with the many pictures giving a good representation of condition and where it can be judged on it's own merit, so please do check these out carefully before bidding. Measures approx ; ( 2cm ) 3/4" inches high at highest point x ( 7.3cm ) 2.7/8" inches long x ( 4.7cm ) 1.7/8" inches wide . All pictures on this listing are of the actual item for sale .
