Superb,"Etoile Filante", Pure Bronze, Signed Figurine, securely mounted on a black marble base. I am an established supplier of quality, pure bronze, statues & figurines, offering many of the standard bronzes sold within the UK, together with some of the rarer bronzes. This extremely high quality bronze, produced by the hot cast, lost wax technique, is securely mounted on a bespoke black marble base. Dimensional Data The statue, overall, is 190 mm high, around 200 mm wide, elbow to toe & weighs 1,7 kgs The stepped black marble base is 100 mm long x 88 mm wide x 40 mm thick General A stunning bronze piece, with incredible detail, adding distinction as either a centrepiece, or main attraction to any dwelling. A reproduction of the the original, Art Nouveau c1895 version by Felix Maurice Charpentier, a renowned French Art Nouveau sculptor, ( 1858-1924), An exquisite naked, bronze sleeping Nymph figurine, sitting on a cloud formation, with her long flowing hair.
