Images A superb mid C19th large Victorian ornate gilt gesso frame and the second of an identical pair I am listing on ebay today . This imposing and high quality frame measures 29.5in x 24.5in with rebate measurements of 20in x 15.25in and comes from a large North Suffolk House clearance. The frame is in excellent condition for an item over 150 years old, with no damage or losses. The sumptuous 5 inch moulding makes this an extremely impressive frame and the original gilding has a fine patina in keeping with the items age. The reverse of the frame has been re-covered with paper, underneath which is the Victorian dark wood base. A perfect interior decorators item ideal for an oil painting or mirror.
