A superb original Clarice Cliff Bonjour shape teaset in the Blue Autumn pattern, designed between 1930-1934 for Newport Pottery.The teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl are all strongly painted with bright, crisp colours.The teapot is in truly fantastic condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs or any rubbing to the decorationsThe milk jug is in similar excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs or rubbing.The sugar bowl has all over crazing, which is more noticeable on the honey glaze than the decorated areas and a small hairline crack on the purple bush side. There are no chips, repairs or paint loss.The teapot measures 14cm high x 17cm wide x 6.5cm deep.The milk jug measures 6cm high x 11cm wide x 4cm deepThe sugar bowl is 6cm high x 8cm wide x 4cm deep.All three pieces are fully stamped "Clarice Cliff Newport England".A truly stunning set!
