SUPERB Early 1970's KENZO JAP France KIMONO Print DRESS SUPERB EARLY 1970's KENZO JAP Paris KIMONO PRINT DRESSThis is a fantastic Original Early Kenzo JAP French designer dress, in gorgeous colours, medium / light weight cotton featuring the most fantastic Japanese kimono inspired floral print.An absolute must for collectors and fashionistas alike.The colours are stunning, purple-ish lilac with pinkish-rose-red roses, tulips, lillies with honey-yellows, sky and medium blues and minty geens etc, with little abstract japanese kimono-print flowers dotted about, then 'fading into a lilac / pale lilac paisley and stars on the sides of the dress. The Japanese love affair with patterns and it's influence is so evident in this lovely dress!The front has a small band collar and three Mother-of-Pearl buttons dyed lilac. The fron of the dress is pleated around the neckline so it is loose fitting around chest.It has the earliest Kenzo label, which has KENZO JAP on it. Also 'Made in France'.3/4 - mid length sleeves.Size vintage 38 which would be 10, but since vintage 8/10, loose fitting with original matching wide and long cotton sash / belt, which is reminiscent of a Japanese obi.MEASUREMENTS:120cm 47 1/4" long47cm 18 1/2" wide at chestSASH:14.5cm 5 3/4" wide195.2cm almost 77" long-----------------It is in excellent - very good, used but well read more
