Wonderful and Fine Early J.K.Farnell, 25", Teddy Bear, C.1915. I've never had a Steiff bear and i'm sure there fab, but this bear must surely come a close second, he's fabulous, of the hundreds of bears i've sold in the past, this one is the best i've ever had !!. His name is Lord Snooty, because of his up-turned nose, typical of the very early Farnell's. He has all the characteristics you'd expect of the early Farnell's, long straight arms, exaggerated hump, big glass eyes, ect. He is also, at 25" (63.5 cms), a good sized bear. Condition: Great condition, only very minor wear on his snout, hasn't been played with much, stuffing is good and solid. Maybe a little faded, probably been darker, he's a very pale golden colour now. Glass eyes are original, so are his pads and nose stiching. He has had no repairs or restoration.
