This is a beautiful, large 13.5 gram piece of all-natural , authentic Dominican amber gem from the mines in the Dominican Republic with a rarely seen superb green color (all natural not dyed or treated) that is best observed in natural sunlight with light shining on the piece. The piece has a large window polished into it so you can see the true color best. It exhibits superb transparency when light is shining through the piece as a couple pictures show. You can clearly see sedimentary rock matrix material attached to this piece from which it was mined confirming it is real and not fake. It is very hard material and gem quality. All pictures were taken in natural sunlight to show the true color of this gorgeous piece. Please mouse over images to see a larger view. I do combine items to save on shipping costs. Dominican fossil amber is known for the clarity of its inclusions including such things as insects, arachnids, and botanicals. All amber I offer is authentic, non-treated material. Many of these specimens have been hand-sanded and polished by me. They have not been reconstituted nor are they plastic.
