EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH SUBSTANTIAL ORIGINAL LACQUER. NOT JUST VIOLIN/MUSICAL INSTUMENT MAKERS USED THIS TYPE OF PLANE. WHERE END, OR TOUGH/CURLY GRAIN NEEDS TO BE REMOVED, THIS TYPE OF PLANE WAS USED.
