DESCRIPTION Beautiful, long and elaborate antique gilt brass filigree pin set with glass turquoise cabochons and highlighted with detailed enameling. Would look fantastic worn as a hair ornament . Measures 4" long x 1 3/4" W. In superb condition. Possibly of Czech origin. Based on the early locking clasp (see pix), circa 1900-10 (per Jeannene Bell, this clasp was used from about 1896 in Europe [c. 1912 in America] through the 1920s; the blue color and detailed enameling place this earlier rather than later). Items are vintage or antique unless otherwise noted, and have been previously worn and/or used. Please tfore expect wear commensurate with age and normal use.
