This rarely seen Margot de Taxco Mexican Silver Bracelet has a fabulous Art Deco style. Crafted in heavy thick Sterling Silver repousse, the links have a ornate flowing design, with each of the five links slightly curved so the bracelet sits beautifully around your wrist. The bracelet measures 7" long by 15/16" wide and weighs a hefty 43.6 grams of sterling silver. Hallmarked "Margot de Taxco, Sterling Made in Mexico" with the design number "5579" and the eagle stamp 16. It is in good original vintage condition with no signs of damage or repair, only slight signs of wear and a bit of tarnish. The button topped push in clasp stays tightly closed and there is an attached safety chain for added security. A exceptional bracelet by one of the most important and collected of the early Mexican Silver Masters ~ it's a lovely work of art to wear!
