OK , It probably Is'nt Hans Coper - I can't see a mark anyway. This is , however, a superbly constructed pot, definitely made by a fine potter. Constructed in the same way as Coper using two cylinders, the upper shaped to form the spade shape, the lower, the column stand and then joined. With some near horizontal incised lines and covered in a blistered glaze, it's a great pot - there is perhaps a clue to the maker, there is the word campden painted ( with original glaze ? ) inside the cylinder foot . In excellent condition the piece stands 21cms high x 15 cms wide - a sleeper ? - Please note would overseas please contact for postage and packing charges.
