Fantastic pair of Bassett-Lowke scale non-working models of two different types of cannons used in the Battle Of Waterloo with paperwork describing the guns (see photos). Each is mounted on a beautiful wooden plinth with brass engraved plates describing each cannon. These attractive scale models are signed to double as bookends, ideal for your military tomes. They both measure 9 inches long by 6.5 inches wide by 7 inches high and both have green felt feet and backing to protect your books and bookshelf. The brass plaques on the wooden stands read - "A nine pound field piece as used by the British Royal Regiment of Artillery 1815 cast in commemoration of the Battle Of Waterloo" and "A six pound field piece British Royal Regiment of Artillery 1815 cast in commemoration of the Battle of Waterloo".Each cannon is very highly detailed with cast brass fittings/wheels etc mounted on a wooden body. The parts move, wheels turn etc. Each cannon measures about 8 inches long by 4.5 inches wide by 3.75 inches high.I've started these at 99p with no reserve. Good luck bidding.Posted with eBay Mobile
