A Rare, Fine and Elegant "Double Jigger" Double Ended Tot Cup Measure for Whisky or Liquor, in Fine Scottish Sterling Silver, Made by the Noted Provincial Firm of James Ramsay of DUNDEE in 1911, with Glasgow Hallmarks, Measuring One Quarter and One Half Gill (1¼ & 2½ Fluid Ounces), 4¼ Inches High and in Excellent Condition This is a Fine, Elegant and Rare Scottish Provincial DUNDEE Double Ended Whisky or Liquor Tot Cup or Measure in fine Glasgow Hallmarked Sterling Silver. This large measure measures four and a quarter inches high This Measure has two Tot Cup ends, one measuring 1¼ and the other end 2½ fluid ounces, or one quarter and one half gill, a solid "double" dram measure of Scotch whisky, in the traditional beer and whisky combination of "a ha'f and a ha'f". This was made in fine Sterling Silver in 1911 in the Scottish provincial town of Dundee, by Arthur James Ramsay, principal of the firm of James Ramsay, and sent to Glasgow to be hallmarked as shown above. It is in excellent condition.
