A fantastic Rookwood basket incised on the underside by the artist, âeoeARV / hâe (Albert R. Valentien). Rookwood RP mark with 5 flames dates this piece to 1891, mold 360B. Extremely well painted with what appear to be rambling roses. The piece has the usual mild crazing throughout and one very tiny fleabite to the upper edge. Measures 10âeWx8âeDx6.5âeH.
