A superb sprigged jug, unmarked but unmistakably Mortlake and around 1800 in date. 6.3" tall to the top of the domed lid and in generally excellent condition save that there is a little flaking around where the lid has been applied and also some slight flaking around the base edge (please see photos). I take Buyer to pay postage. Sorry, I forgot to mention that there is a light hairline across the base of the handle but the handle has never been off.
