This is a Superb Edwardian Jewllery Case, crafted by the very highly sought after silversmiths A & J Zimmerman ltd , made in 1909 making it 113 years old, this is a most beautiful round Jewellery box with a good strong hinged lid, when closed giving it a double band, it is set on 3 feeted legs, it has a draped green velvet lining to the inside and the inside of lid is gold gilt, the hinge is good and strong and the lid closes nice and tight, the silver is finished in a lovely smooth design, this beautiful box would have held stunning Jewellery and rings, and would have been owned by the Lady of the House, it would have a lot of stories to tell, this really is a quality made Jewellery Box Maker...... A&J Zimmerman ltd Assay Mark........Birmingham 1909 Condition.....
