(PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR ADDITIONAL PHOTOS) Item: Superb Victorian Azure Blue Guilloche Enamel Locket CIRCA 1900 This is a fabulous locket! Small in size big in quality! It is 5/8 of an inch in diameter. T is no damage to the enamel! It is the prettiest color of blue!!! The azure blue enamel covers an engine turned design and is surrounded by a white opaque enamel. It opens and closes perfectly. Inside the locket are two old photos that I believe were added to the locket in the 40's. The photos do not have the age of the locket which dates to about 1900. Both photo rims and covers are in place. The locket is signed...right above the photo of the lady. I cannot make it out. This is a yellow gold filled locket and I do not see any wear to the finish at all other than very light surface scratches on the back of the locket. My photos are very magnified so that you can see every detail. I have not cleaned this locket. (I noticed tiny black dots in the white enamel while cropping the photos. I think that these are dust particles, as I cannot see them unless I look at the magnified photos.) Will leave that to the new owner. This beautiful locket would look fantastic on a charm bracelet or worn as a pendant. A super fine Victorian locket! What a treasure!!!!
