! SUPERB VIKING BRONZE SWORD POMMEL! NO RESERVE! Rare Viking bronze sword pommel featuring the familiar five-lobed form. This hollow piece would have sat on top of a curved iron upper guard, and then the handle. It is virtually as it was made a thousand years or more ago, with a beautiful even deep green patina. One of the nicest examples I have ever seen. 9th or 10th century (48mm). Payments accepted via Paypal, and personal checks (must clear first). Bidder pays actual shipping costs.
