SUPERB VINTAGE c.1940 "HORLICKS MALTED MILK" SODA FOUNTAIN DISPENSING JAR Unusual smaller example of this glass malted milk jar that would have adorned the backbar of your local Soda fountain in the 1940's! Very crisp applied enamelled lettering in cobalt blue color on both sides of this jar to advertise the product! Lettering is very strong on both sides & the jar itself is nice & clean with no chips or fleabites at the rim often seen on these jars! The lid is original to this jar & not some sort of a marriage! Simply a beautiful clean example of this rarely seen Soda fountain/Diner piece! Could easily be used in your kitchen to store sugar, flour, candies, cookies, rice,etc! Would make a superb addition to any Soda fountain, Ice cream parlour, Diner, Luncheonette, Drugstore, Apothecary, Malted milk, Hot chocolate, Syrup dispenser, syrup bottle, vintage Straw holder, Orange Crush, Lemon crush, Lime crush, Coca-cola, Pepsi-cola, Hires, Dr. Pepper, 7-up, Moxie or soda collection!! This piece will be bubblepacked to the excess & double-boxed to assure a safe arrival! I use only premium bubblepack, peanuts & double-walled boxes in my packaging! Check my feedback!!
