10.5x16" thin art board featuring original pencil art by noted comic book artist Curt Swan (1920-1996), best known as the artist most associated w/Superman titles during the period fans and historians call the Silver Age of comic books. Swan produced hundreds of covers and stories from the 1950s through the 1980s. Offered here is the original art for page 19 of "Superman" #292, published by N.P.P. in October 1975. Issue was written by Elliot Maggin w/interior art by Curt Swan and inks by Bob Oksner. Storyline "The Luthor Nobody Knows!" Seven panel page shows Superman telling story with Superboy saving Lex Luthor from an exploding helicopter armed w/a nuclear bomb. N.P.P. copyright stamp on back. Scattered handling wear/aging. Aged tape at left side, top and at bottom. Signed by Curt Swan. VF.
