But fixed gear bikes are being ridden everywhere now, not just the velodrome. If you're playing bike polo, cruising the campus, or commuting by bike, you might want to consider the new flat bar version of the complete Steamroller. Steamroller's frame and fork are constructed of durable 4130 chromoly steel, for an excellent balance of cost-effectiveness, ride quality, weight, and lifespan. This is a bike you can feel good about riding and USING without worrying about weather, bad roads, etc. While it was designed as a fixed gear machine (and can certainly be ridden at the track) the geometry is more like a road bike. TECH SPECSThe only braze-ons are water bottle bosses.
