SCHOOL GIRL DRESS! Kit, Molly or any of the girls will love wearing this adorable dress with all of its classic details. It is tailored from cotton homespun in a darling rosey pink and blue plaid. Although the dress looks like a jumper, it is actually one piece which makes it easier to dress the doll. The bodice of the dress is lined and features a peter pan collar trimmed with blue piping. The long, white sleeves are also trimmed with piping. The dropped waist was popular in Kit's era, and the six sapphire blue buttons add to the vintage detail. A blue fabric belt is held in place by four little belt loops. The sweet box pleats add to the school girl charm. A pretty barrette and notebook complete the outfit. The apple is for the teacher. (Doll, shoes and socks are not included). The garment has serged seams for a professional finish, a velcro closure and fits similar 18" dolls. My doll clothes are made from quality fabrics and trims in a pet and smoke-free home. Special attention is given to the fit, workmanship and little accessories.
