This sale is for a vintage B. Svoboda, of Solingen Germany, Bowie Knife with a Stag Handle . It has an overall length of about 13-1/4". The carbon steel blade is about 8-1/8" long and the stag handle is about 5" long, with the pommel.The blade tang is stamped as follows: Solingen Cutlery B. Svoboda Made In GermanyThe thick heavy blade has scuffs and scratches, and it has been re-sharpened. However, the blade is uniform and about 97% complete. The aluminum pommel and the stag handle are both in excellent condition.The knife does not come with its original sheath, but I will include a brown leather sheath that fits the knife blade perfectly. Unfortunately, the sheath's handle strap is too short. It will not go around the thick stag handle. This could be remedied by adding an extension to the handle strap, or by replacing the strap. The sheath is in good condition.
