On offer is this lovely hand painted Dish: Quatrelobed oval shapeNot marked on the base but with old typed label on base stating painter is Thomas Pardoe. Featuring an attractive and expertly painted central fruit design with fruit decoration inside each of the lobes No restoration, cracks, chips or crazing - the foot has two or three nibbles Gilded edging showing signs of wear juxtaposed with blue four leaf pattern The painted detail show signs of wear on one leaf - enamel almost gone and some fragments missing on purple fruit. All in all a very attractive piece Earthenware with a cold white glaze 11" long X 7.5" wide It appears this item may well have been well used in a domestic environment and then perhaps displayed - there is also a loose hand written label stating the dish is decorated by Thomas Pardoe.
