Swarovski Cheetah, (Very Rare) Var 1 Mint in Box with Certificate Designed by Michael Stamey. Introduced in 1994, discontinued in 1994 due to excessive breakage. Item No. 7610 000 001/183 225. Made in Austria, Swan Logo. Dimensions 4" inches or 102 mm High This Beautiful Swarovski African Wildlife Series Cheetah has the tail lying on the shelf. The construction of the tail was changed in 1994 because of excessive breakage, sooo t are not a lot of this variation. I've owned "Charlie" since he was first born at Swarovski. "Charlie" the Swarovski Rare Cheetah is Intricately detailed, and as only Swarovski can, the sparkle and realism of this exquisite piece cannot be duplicated. His eyes are black piercing crystals surrounded by agate color crystals, all of his body is faceted, except for his front legs, back paws and tail which are solid crystal. Cheetahs have been the pets of Egyptian Kings and today are endangered. They are absolutely Beautiful in Real Life and also in this Swarovski Crystal creation by Michael Stamey.
