From my personal collection of trinkets and treasures, this is a large (approximately 2 5/8" long) crystal egg manufactured in Austria by Swarovski. It's in excellent condition, with brilliant sparkle and no chips or cracks. I'm including the small stand with the egg. I purchased the egg in Europe in the mid-late 1980's. It has the block SC logo (tried to show it in the last 2 photos). That logo was the original one used on Swarovski figurines in the Silver Crystal product line. Essentially, the logo is the letter C, with the letter S inside the open part of the C. The company used this Swarovski logo from 1976 until 1988. Crystal bearing the block SC logo means that the crystal was made sometime during those years. This was produced as one of the "Decorative Items for your desk" Series.
