Hi, you are bidding on this HARD TO FIND vintage sterling silver pendant by Swedish silversmith Birger Haglund. This is marked on back "BIRGER HAGLUND STERLING SWEDEN BirgerH" This measures 1 inch long and 3/4 inch wide. This is on a 16 inch sterling silver box chain marked "925 ITALY". Pendant shows normal light wear from age and use but is just beautiful! Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to own a piece from this famous silversmith! Birger Haglund worked with Atelier Borgila from 1938-1941. In 1941, he opened his own studio in Stockholm and then opened another in Johannesburg in 1948. He is one of only two silversmiths to receive the "lifetime artist compensation" from the Swedish state. Thanks so much for viewing our auctions!
