Upp for auction is this big hand embroidered wall hanging with this text (free translation): Jarker was the quickest farmhand in the neighborhood. He could handle both the plough and the spade skilfully. Anna was the most beautiful maid in the county. Good at weaving and "spåning" (which we think means making baskets) This wall hanging is extremely well made. Even the hem is sewn by hand and we are sure that this item, though very well kept, was made very long ago. Very good condition! No holes, no stains, embroidery intact. What looks like spots on the linen is just shadows.
