I hve not hd time to research this charming vintage/antique chair..It is strong and not wobbley..I cannot tell if has ever been refinished..It is 21"across the back of chair at the top..The seat is 17"tall and the seat is 19"wide..From the back ,at the top,to bottom of chair is 26"tall.No splits in the wood and no dirt..I will not be sorry if it not sold,for I just love it myself..No name on the underside just a number 6 or 9..Perhaps it was part of a dining set,,but seems a bit wide for that..The wood has some grain to it and I do not know what kind of wood..The old days,chairs for ladies were made to accomidate wide full dressed,however,I don't know if this is that old..Enjoy.
