The highly decorative blade adjustment knob cast with "STANLEY" in big raised letters further confirms a production date in this era. Truly FINE! FINE! FINE! They don't get any better than this one! If you are thinking of buying the plane to use, you should not lose sight of the investment value of a fine vintage piece, not to mention the joy of ownership that comes with the "real McCoy."
