Pantheon Books, New York, NY : 1939. Cloth hardcover. Book Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Ed, 1st ptg : 315p.Yellow cloth boards with black spine. Binding is tight and strong with clean, clear pages. Some sun fading to binding in spots where DJ has chipped. Minor rubbing to bottom edges. Dust jacket is discolored esp at spine with several chips, see photos.The US First Edition of the Irish classic At-Swim-Two-Birds. The UK edition was first published in scarce quantities in 1939. Most of those copies either went to libraries or were taken out by Hitler's raids on London. This version, the first published in the US, appeared in 1951 (though the copyright page misleadingly provides the UK publication date).
