This is Swiss maxon 7 pole Coreless motor with double 1.5 mm shafts and it is 16 mm (Diameter) and 25 mm long in the body not including the bearing lips or shafts. Without a flywheel it will coast several seconds no load--this is the nature of coreless motors with zero cogging. This is Swiss made Coreless "Rolls Royce Quality" can * motor for brass or plastic loco diesel or steam loco. It flywheels a few seconds and thats enough to coast you through switchwork for several inches to prevent stalling the steam or diesel locomotive through dirty or rough track. With or without flywheel!! Will fit narrow gauge Hon3, Sn3, On3 and standard gauge HO, S O gauge and some large N scale like mallets and the Berkshires. . This listing is without the flywheel.
