Up for auction is a Swiss Model 1911 "Pioneer" sawtooth bayonet. This bayonet is maker marked "Elsener Schwyz". The maker is stamped on one side of the blade,with nothing on the opposite side. It has a 685XXX serial number stamped on the hilt. The blade in in VERY Good condition and has NO signs of ever being sharpened.The release button works perfectly. The scabbard has the leather strip for fastening to the bayonet frog. T are NO dings or dents in the scabbard. Any questions,please feel free to ask.
