Swiss Model 1914 Pioneer bayonet with wood handle; sawtooth engineer blade that is fullered on one side only and has a bulge at the end. Blade length - 18.9 inches Total length - 24 inches Manufacturer - HS Serial number - 47969 Bayonet is in very good condition with slight surface rust on the pommel and crossbar which should clean up with steel wool. The scabbard is in excellent condition with no dents. Should fit 1911 carbine and K31 short rifle. Will no t fit Schmidt Rubin long rifles.Bought over 40 years ago out of a barrelful of WW I bayonets from which this looked like the meanest of the bunch.Shipping paid by buyer.
