US Army Signal Corps Switchboard. When I received it was new in a double cardboard box from the Army. Condition is NOS. Model BD-57-B built by Cook Electric in Chicago. Appears to be WWII vintage but I'm not sure. If someone knows the history please email me and I will add to this listing. Check my feedback. I'll been on eBay since 1999 and never a negative feedback.Received this message from a fellow eBayer: From my reference material: This was one of the components for the code practice equipment EE-81, a classroom Morse code practice set for training up to 20 operators under an instructor. The ID tag is the same as the model listed in my reference book-so it is a WW2 era signal trainer.
