T & L HAND BLOWN GLASS This auction is for an awesome handblown glass Giraffe! Like all the glass items we offer, this glass figurine is new and has no cracks or chips. This giraffe has been sculpted of clear borosilicate glass. The face has been highlighted with butterscotch & black glass. The spots have been added by hand with 22k. gold. This one of a kind Giraffe measures approx. 4 1/8" long from the tip of the tail to the end of the nose. It stands approx. 5" high to the top of it's head. ABOUT US: For those who don't know about us, we live in Nebraska ! Ours is a family operation. We work out of our home. Each of our 5 daughters in now or has been involved in our glass business. Whether it be glass sculpting, bead making, shipping, selling or doing computer work, everyone is involved! Even our 7 yr. old is learning the art of lampworking! Tim, THE glassblower, is self taught and has been developing his own unique style for the last 16 years. His goal is to make the most realistic looking figurines as possible. He has recently incorporated colored glass to help achieve this goal. We have never had a disappointed customer! Tim's work can be found in Estes Park and Evergreen, CO. as well as various shops in Nebraska . His glass figurines have been shipped to buyers in all 50 states and several countries around the world. read more
