Lobaugh SP Crude Oil Tank Car O Scale, 2-Rail We’ve already been over ground having to do with Rollin Lobaugh’s fascination with large tank cars. I’m proud to say that Recently I came into a small collection of some of his best and most provocative built up brass car kits – including the big tankers. , seemingly reeking of Texas Gold, is one of the largest, the CRUDE CAR . Yes, t was a time when a lot of crude oil was shipped by rail, especially from small wells and production facilities in the Southwest. Not surprisingly Southern Pacific had a major interest in serving these shippers - and the refined products their crude produced. Like all the cars in this group, this example is well constructed with underbody detail, sprung trucks and Kaydee couplers . And yes, it will be packaged my usual sturdy box. PAYMENT Unfortunately, I must collect 7% sales tax from my beleaguered fellow New Jerseyites! Shipping Insurance is required on all purchases totalling $100 or more. I will send you an eBay invoice at end of auction. PLEASE RESPOND TO THE INVOICE WITHIN 24 HOURS or send me an email if payment will be delayed. Full payment is expected within 10 business days .
